The GasHighWay route to 2050 – The alternative way for sustainable mobility

The GasHighWay European Project has been running since 2009 with the aim of promoting the uptake of gaseous vehicle fuels and compressed natural gas (CNG), as well as the production and upgrading of biogas for vehicle fuel. The objective of the project was to promote the realisation of a network of filling stations for biomethane and natural gas reaching from Finland and Sweden, to the south, Italy, in other words: the GasHighWay.

After 3 years of productive work, we will be pleased to show the main achievements of the projects like the map of filling stations, the reports on the existing infrastructure and the catalogue of best incentives for natural gas vehicles.
